With the introduction of approved document Q in the Building Regulations due to start in October 2015, all windows in newly built homes will need an enhanced level of security. Windows must be proven to have met the requirements of PAS-24. Secured by Design is the official police security iniative that focuses on designing out crime.
Secured by Design awards membership to companies with products that are proven by test to pass the standards required for Building Regulations.
