We sell five different types of cord in a range of thicknesses. Please make sure that you use a cord that will take the required sash weight, Knots/hanks are also available.

Wax Cotton Sash Cord
Waxed Cotton Sash Cord is the traditional method used for hanging weights. Our cotton cord has a polyester core to add extra strength. Supplied in three sizes - 6mm, 7mm and 8mm.

UK Manufactured Wax Cotton Sash Cord
Our cotton cord has a polyester core to add extra strength and is manufactured in the UK. Supplied in four sizes - 5mm, 6mm 7mm and 8mm.

Polyester Sash Cord
Polyester Sash Cord is diamond braided which is very strong and will not stretch. Supplied in two sizes - 6mm and 8mm.

Nylon Sash Cord
Nylon sash cord has higher strength and will last longer. Ours is all white - no coloured braids - so looks traditional. However, the cord diameter may need to be increased so it looks in proportion to the sash size. Supplied in two sizes - 6mm and 8mm.

Red Fleck Waxed Sash Cord
Our Red Fleck Waxed Cotton Cord is extremely strong, due to it's double braided construction. Coated with a waxed polish. This red fleck design can often be seen in historic properties. Supplied in two sizes - 7mm and 8mm.

Sash Cord Cleat
It gives a much more professional appearance, can be done without any assistance, time saving operation, any cord adjustments can be easily made, permanent part of the window so always there for future use, suitable for all types of Reddiseals cord, cleat holds 20kg (depending on which cord is used).
